Staying at Quinta da Gricha was very good! The room provided amazing vineyard views. Each morning seemed like a dream. The amenities were great, with a cozy atmosphere and a lovely terrace perfect for enjoying a glass of local wine. The staff demonstrated really good hospitality. They were knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. Breakfast had delicious local options, although I wished for a bit more variety overall. Evening dining options were limited, but the dining experience on the terrace still stood out. As for the road leading to the Quinta, it was steep and winding, but it may not suit everyone, especially at night. Despite this, I would return for another relaxing retreat.

The road access really does give you a rollercoaster ride!!! Portions for dinner were disappointingly small. Offering more diverse evening meal options would be a welcome addition.

Fine views and intimate experience in the Douro Valley.
The dinner options were disappointingly limited, especially on nights when we were not keen on what was being served. Breakfast selection was rather basic. I expected more variety of local fruits for such an acclaimed location.

The Beautiful Double or Twin Room with River View was amazing! You wake up to fine vineyard views that feel like a dream. The room was cozy and super inviting. Plus, you could easily enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace while soaking in the views. Only downside was that the decor felt a bit dated in places, but honestly, not a huge deal with all the beauty around.
